Start With Survival, Not Combat
Official Steam materials present Iron Blight as survival horror, not a campaign about clearing every threat. Ammunition and supplies are scarce, so firing a gun spends a limited resource and can draw attention.
The useful opening rule is to survive the night, scavenge what you need, and skip fights that do not buy you a way forward.
Scavenge Tools and Read Prompts

That names one ammunition type on that route. It does not establish drop rates, totals, or a control scheme for every platform.

Steam copy asks players to manage food and medical supplies. The same recording shows Canned Fish and Condensed Milk.
Those names prove food items exist in that session. They are not a restoration table, a spawn list, or a complete pantry.
Inventory Space Is Part of Survival
The recording shows an Inventory Full prompt. Limited space is therefore part of the survival loop, not a late convenience.
